This pretty was a gift; actually I won it in a giveaway some time ago. Color is hard to describe, a brick like mix or red and orange. It gives a perfect creme finish, one of my favorites.

H&M Spending Cash with Carl

Spending Cash with Carl is a gorgeous electric blue shade with a little shimmer. The shade gets a stunning shine in the sunlight. It has good opacity and the formula is nice, easy to work with. The brush is also fine, and easy to handle. Do use the base coat with this shade, it can stain nails badly.
This is two coats.

Nailed It

Nailed it literally. We are repairing the roof this week, and of course it is expected that I help and asist as much as a girl can. While doing some cleaning around the house, I wanted to avoid the brick falling on my head. So I impulsively stepped back, directly to a nail sticking out of a piece of wood. Big auuuuuuuuuuu. Man that hurt. I limp a bit, and it drives me crazy because it feels like ages to get from one place to another. But the healing started, so it is a good thing I guess.

Back to Life

Woha, March has been one of the bussiest months ever. During the whole month I have spent at home no more than five!! days. The rest of the time I was working or travelling. I barely found time for my boyfriend and family, and no time to make or post any mani at all.
I feel like my nails are having a rebellion, due to the lack of care for them, as they are brittle, and split, so I had to file them down completely. :(  I am annoyed for that matter, because I really hate having short nails. Now I pamper them and beg them to grow as fast and healty as possible. :)

Wet n Wild Night Prowl

My very first Wet n wild nailpolish was actually a gift. I won a giveaway, but due to the holidays I claimed my prize one day too late. But Ulmiel from Did someone say nail polish? was so kind to send me a package of 4 nailpolishes anyway. Thank you so much. Go and check out her blog if you don't already know it. ;)

One of the polishes was this Wet n wild pretty. It's a beautiful dark base with purple glitter. But what I really disliked was the formula. After applying the first coat, I had to wait for it to dry, only then I was able to apply the second coat. If not, the second coat had simply wiped out the first coat. The result was a nail ful of blank spots where the second coat had wiped off the nailpolish. Maybe it is just me, but I'm not used of such things with other polishes.

As you can see, winter has taken its tool on my cuticles. :S That is also the reason for only one picture. After taking all the pictures, I realized that the poor state of my cuticles is only emphasized on the pictures. *off she goes to find some cuticle butter*

Essence True Love

Essence True Love is part of Essence Vampire's love collection. I wanted this pretty badly, but it was almost impossible to get it. I was always too late, all the bottles were gone whereever I looked. Then, my luck changed, and I managed to get it in small drugstore.
Essence True Love is a beautiful shimmery purple shade, the brush is flat, which makes application easy peazy. It is very opaque, one thick coat or two thin coats are more than enough.

Catrice - Meet Me at Coral Island

Today is a sunny day, after a long time. I wanted some of this summer, sunny spirit on my nails as well. Catrice Meet me at Coral Island is red/orange - coral, as the title suggest, shade. The formula is great, not too thick, not too runny. Flat brush is easy managable. However, this shade is a bit transperent, so two, maybe even three coats are needed for full opacity. I applied two coats, and no top coat.

Shuuuu, I didn't notice that I forgot to clean up the polish on my middle and ring finger, before taking the pictures. I apoligize for that. 

Naughty and Nice of 2011_ part 1

Another year has passed, and it's been a looong one. :)
I decided to gather 10 products, 5 nice and 5 naughty that surprised or dissapointed me in the previous year. Since I'm snowed under with the work for my uni, I'll do two posts; one for the good, and one for the bad products.

Here are the nominees:

The Nice 

Nice #1: Alverde toner wild rose 

This is one of the best face toners I have ever tried. My dry skin soaks it at once, and it leaves it hydrated and glowing. It has good ingredients, and it is cheap. 

Nice #2: Lush Lemony Flutter

With fresh lemony smell, this cuticle butter makes wonders. 

I've noticed that if I rub in it into my cuticles every evening the problems with dry and cracked cuticles are gone. You can also rub it into your nails, to hydrate and strengthen them. 

Nice #3: Lush Rub Rub Rub

Fantastic shower scrub in electric blue colour. It contains tiny grains that scrub your skin gently and leave it smoooth and slick. Not to mention the fres and refreshning smell, that fills you with energy and wakes you up. 

Nice #4: Crystal Nail File

It is simply a must have!! It files nails gently and pecisely; because it's crystal you can file your nails in both ways. It is important to buy a good one, the cheap ones usually have rough surface and only frazzle your nails. Mine is from Essie, and if I dont' brake it, is should last for quite a while. :)

Nice #5: Bourjois Volume Glamour Ultra Black Mascara

I don't wear much make-up, eyeliner and good mascara do the trick. I don't need to add length to my lashes  only volume. And this one gives just the right amount of volume so it doens't look cheap of fake, and separates your lashes from each other.
